Guitar-based waffle from North-East-based chap. Featuring nice guitar gear and dodgy fashion sense. My videos always seem to be 30 minutes long because that's when my camera stops recording.
I also offer guitar lessons either in person or via Skype. £35 per hour. Message me up for more info.

A sunny day for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Newcastle upon Tyne on Sunday 21st May 2023. After a little bit of confusion at the beginning about the route, we settled in for a lovely ride through Newcastle, Jesmond, Gosforth, out to the coast before heading south through Whitley Bay and Tynemouth, ending up at Tyne Bank brewery in Byker. Many thanks to Triumph Newcastle for arranging t...

wow, nice video and a good guitar! You have to practice!
Could you upgrade the starcaster? Or would that ultimately do more harm than good?
You could upgrade it by buying a USA Strat...! Seriously, the whole guitar is fine as a package, if you had a set of pickups and electrics to hand you could put those in, that's the biggest effect on a guitar's tone, but generally speaking I would put the money towards just a whole higher quality guitar.
Tbh I feel like Jacksons under 500 bucks have garbage pickups... my old guitar players guitars sounded sooo muddy and they were so bass it screwed up the mix as a whole.
What's the bike at 09:31 please?
Not entirely sure, could it be a Suton- Norton frame, Suzuki engine and bits?
@@MartSharm yeah defo an interesting bike
Immediately gotta say my starcaster has flame maple neck and magical body
Doing this in Newcastle tomorrow. My first time. Can't wait!
Hi there, do these books have tabs or standard notation. Thanks.
Bikers of all lands unite.
FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YAYYYYYYY
I like the chorus and DS1, tuner's not very nirvana 😋😇🌿
Is that a jazzmaster o a jaguar?
It’s a Player Jazzmaster. I wanted the full scale length, sometimes the E string gets tuned to C# and I don’t like short scales in general. So I chose the closest thing I could get from a cosmetic point of view but with 25.5 scale.
@@MartSharm those are great guitars and looks incredible as well
Great stuff guys. Keep it going.
a little bit out of tempo at some parts and this needs a lot of mixing
It’s just a rehearsal on a GoPro but thanks for watching!
Sounds great!
what pedals is the guitarist using?
The only one used on the song is Boss DS-2
AWESOME!!!
Never seen a better cover of this song. This sounds almost like the original song! 👍🏻
This is actually really good, dude sounds a lot like Cobain aswell😂
“I don’t think *UA-cam* would let us play that 😗🤪”
this is incredible!!!
AWESOME!
Not bad (Electric guitar and singer good), but, in my most humble opinion, we need more bass and the drum cymbal sounds too loud. Keep the good work!
Thanks for the comments. This is just a GoPro mic so the mix is never going to be perfect. We will do a multitrack in the future, this is just an early recording for promo purposes.
This is so good oml
its my dream to have a room like this LOL, on a serious topic though you guys did a really good job, i am really surprised with the quality of the video it doesnt have more views
Agreed that middle is underrated. I try to use it for rhythm parts as much as possible.
it sounds like your volume pot is not connected to your jack input.
mine doesnt say starcaster on the square metalic on back???
My brother found one, at the curb, on a stand, just like the one in the vid. The pearloid stuff on the pickguard was coming off, so I peeled it away. It's actually fairly heavy, to me. I'm planning on modding it out with a new loaded pickguard. I'm thinking of putting tri-sonics on it. New tuners, bridge, trees, and output jack. Not sure how big the block is. Once all that is done, it's not going to sound like a fender at all, lol. Or...maybe I'll just put something else besides tri-sonics on it. The guitar was free, so any investments are the cost of the guitar.
The Pro Tones were basically a happy accident, and I love them. Can't wait to get a telecaster version some day as well. The alnico pups in my Strat surpass all me USA Fenders. Quite a rad guitar, and folks need to stop comparing them to Classic Vibes. Not even in the same league ya fools.
I had alnico 5s on a squier strat ,they weremore shrill than the mim ,despite having a tone control on the bridge
Great, ethereal composition. I bought a JT60 when they first came out. Following great reviews I got mine for its versatility and I really think that it was a criminally under rated guitar. The range of tones is phenomenal and it took me a while to discover its nuances of the ATN tone circuit. I think that Alan Entwistle has worked with other manufacturers to produce similar offset guitars with similar model numbers using his ATN circuit ...Revelation RJT60......Harley Benton JA60......and the new Rapier with an updated version of the circuit. Nice to see someone enjoying what was a lovely instrument.
This was my first “Fender” when I was 13 I was so excited and I knew as I progressed in skill, it could be better. I did a lot of work at home to convince my dad to let me buy upgrades for it. Finally he let me buy a used set of Texas special pickups for $100 and paid a luthier to put all fender electronics in it and set it up . Ever since it has been my go to guitar and now has a 60’s reissue neck. In my opinion it didn’t save me too much money but it was fun putting it together over the years!
LOVEEEEEEEEEE LITHIUM ONE OF MY FAV DRUGS AND SONGS FROM NIRVANA COULD U MAYBE DO ALL APOLOGIES ???

I’m turning in my grave and I’m not even dead yet 😂
What do you call a guy who hangs out with musicians?
I want to play it at my school, but I only "found my friends in my head."
great job, turn the bass up a bit, practice the drums a bit more and practice as a band with a metronome the tempo was all over the place
Washburn is amazing
the drums man... please get it right
Drum intro is way off. No sound on the bass guitar.
absolutely epic keep it up !!
Fuck ya boys. Nice. 👌
HELL YEAH KEEP IT UP GUYS I LOVED THIS COVER SO MUCH COULD YOU GUYS DO ALL APOLOGIES ?
Yh an apology would be nice for that drum intro
you guys did AMAZING!!!
Nice one!
To be fair, this guitar is absolutely metal af! Metal used to be noisy with attitude, feedback and loud...hissing...stacked amps. Not clean and gated sims. In fact, I saw Anvil one time and Steven Kudlow was speaking through his microphonic pickups to the audience (which was of course just me and two other people...but they still put on a great show) during one song. I'll never forget that show
Yeah I’d of cut it out see ya later
I could tell you right off the bat that the protone sounds best
